We are looking for new member in our organization to work as actuary team member of a Scandinavian client. The team assesses the financial impact of potential risks using statistics, financial theories, and mathematics.Duties also include creation of probability models of success of certain business decisions, projecting costs of negative events, designing insurance policies and building strategies to reduce company's financial risks.
Actuary
You can expect to:
- Assess financial, statistical data and create mathematical-statistical analysis
- Project scenarios for various events helping to design insurance policy pricing likelihood of different coverage pay outs
- Take part in actuarial model analysis and development
- Develop strategies to reduce company's financial risks in collaboration with financial professionals, economists, accountants
- Generate charts, models, tables and present conclusions to relevant stakeholders
- Have close communication with decision makers from actuarial and investment areas to determine next steps for the company
- Create solutions to reduce financials risks
We expect You to: - Be a graduate from mathematics, statistics, econometrics, physics, actuarial or related field
- Have experience in actuarial or financial field (including computers and statistical modeling software) as it would be considered a strong advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly relay information to others
- Have strong analytical skills
- Have knowledge of business and financial concepts
- Be a team player
