**About the role:**As a Paralegal at Signicat, you will support our legal team in a variety of tasks, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal research. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions and gain exposure to the cutting-edge field of digital identity.
We are looking for you who have worked for at least a couple of years as a paralegal or legal assistant at a law firm and/or company. We want you to have experience of working with contracts in some form, and training in law or as a paralegal (or equivalent work experience). You will handle a combination of administrative and legal duties.
Since you will have many contact points, both internally and externally, we believe that you have great social skills and you find it very easy to collaborate in different constellations.
You will be based in one of our offices in Vilnius, Bucharest, or Madrid and will work closely with our in-house counsel and other key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of legal reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Take ownership for corporate housekeeping.
Ensure proper maintenance of contract records and filings.
Conduct due diligence in support of various legal transactions.
Creating, filing, and preparing corporate documents.
Make sure that templates are up to date.
Help maintain and manage Signicat's contract management system, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with local and international laws across our operating regions.
Liaise with internal teams to address legal queries and provide support on compliance-related matters.
Coordination of electronic signatures, wet ink signatures, and notarization processes.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in a similar role, from a law firm or a company.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in your work.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in additional languages relevant to our operating regions (e.g., Lithuanian, Spanish, Dutch) is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research tools.
A keen interest in digital identity, data protection, and technology law.
