Join our Payments & Risk Squad as a Mid/Senior QA Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of new payment integrations and risk management features. Your responsibilities:

  • Manual testing of backend tasks related to Payments and Risk domains, including payment provider integrations, fraud detection tool integrations, data integrity, and API level testing.
  • Manual testing of Dashboard for Payment and Risk domains, covering payment flows, KYC flows, internal tooling, and regression testing of other impacted flows.
  • Occasional manual testing of other domains.
  • Automation of testing scenarios.
  • Proposing various testing strategies for our products.
  • Validating changes based on Jira tickets, designs, and user flows.
  • Collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure testability and coverage of new features and functionalities.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and inconsistencies, providing detailed feedback for the development team.
  • Active participation in team meetings.
  • Advocating for quality enhancements in the development process.

Tech Stack:

  • Proficiency in Jira or similar tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Database knowledge.
  • Ability to utilize Web Development tools.
  • Proficiency with Postman.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD.
  • Experience with Cypress.

Your skills & experience:

  • Demonstrated QA engineering experience, preferably in payment systems or financial services.
  • Thorough understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on manual testing.
  • Capability to design and execute detailed test cases covering functional requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ownership and accountability for work.
  • Ability to create clear and comprehensive defect reports.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Experience with automation testing tools or a keen interest to learn automation in the future.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Degree in IT, engineering, or related field.
  • ISTQB foundation certificate.
  • Collaboration skills to work with developers for comprehensive bug fixing.
  • Understanding of Proxying/VPNs.
  • Experience documenting system functionality.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Interest in learning automated testing tools.

Salary:
