About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our US truckload shipments. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and executing dispatch functions while ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Plan and allocate drivers to maximize productivity and earnings.
- Communication: Maintain consistent communication with drivers throughout the day.
- Route Optimization: Collaborate with the dispatch team to adjust routes as necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with both drivers and customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our freight brokers and clients.
Qualifications:
- Availability: Availability to work evening hours from 15:00 to 12:00.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Professional Demeanor: Professional demeanor with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pressure Management: Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Geographical Knowledge: Strong geographical knowledge of the US.
