Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring a world-class safety culture within our organization. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for health, safety, and environmental practices, with a focus on preventing accidents and promoting a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in health, safety, and environmental management, with experience in conducting quality control audits, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about health, safety, and environmental issues, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as well as the capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing site inductions, preparing and leading HSE days, and conducting daily HSE checks. You will also be required to review and approve method statements and risk assessments, as well as liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities.

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

• GWO certification
• NEBOSH certificate
• Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and Internal/Lead Auditor Certificate
• Understanding of the wind industry
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering)
