Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Real Estate team in Lithuania. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work closely with our team to achieve and meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day operations of funds, including following up with third parties, investors, and clients.
- Keep funds' books and prepare periodic valuations, year-end financial statements, CSSF/BCL reporting, and other funds-related reports.
- Assist in coordinating year-end audits and organizing board meetings and shareholders' meetings.
- Prepare periodic tax and VAT returns and maintain contact with Lithuania tax authorities and tax advisers.
- Act as a contact person between shareholders, investment managers, and custodian banks for resolving any issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Audit, or Economics.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation.
- Knowledge of fund industry, valuation, accounting, and securities commonly encountered in the fund industry.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of French or German considered an asset).
- Team spirit, capacity to build strong client relationships, and ability to take initiative.
