Job Description:

HMD Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled Safety Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of driver logs, coaching drivers on Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, and responding to log and accident-related calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct log audits to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Couch drivers on HOS regulations
  • Respond to log and accident-related calls
  • Collect and analyze data to identify safety trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively as a team member
  • Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
