Our goal is to provide innovative and secure financial services for everyone through open banking. To achieve this, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in compliance/anti-financial crime operations to join our Financial Crime Compliance team as an AML Analyst.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team with key aspects of financial crime compliance including transaction monitoring, customer onboarding, and regulatory requirements across Europe and the UK. You will work closely with various teams to ensure effective implementation of financial crime prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate transaction monitoring alerts thoroughly, documenting findings in a timely manner.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious activity or transactions to senior management.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop and test effective financial crime prevention measures.
  • Assist in ongoing efforts to improve and automate transaction monitoring processes.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews, including Know Your Customer checks, as part of the company's customer onboarding process.
  • Support the team in implementing internal rules, standards, and guidelines related to financial crime prevention.

This role requires a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. As a team player, you will be comfortable managing competing priorities and contributing to creating an environment that values compliance and its business implications.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience as compliance/anti-financial crime officer in a financial services institution.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with understanding of how effective financial crime compliance can positively impact products, services, and wider business.
