Senior QA Engineer

Experience tailored benefits, diverse projects with various tech stacks, and opportunities for growth, freedom, and the responsibility you desire.ABOUT THE ROLEIf you are based in Vilnius, you will have the opportunity to engage in an exciting finance sector project focused primarily on test automation, while also performing manual testing in specific phases of validation and migration. The project involves ensuring quality across complex integrations, large-scale data migration, and multi-system communication using SWIFT messaging, Kafka, and cloud-based JSON interfaces.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDevelop and execute automated and manual test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Playwright, JMeter, and related tools.Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.Conduct API testing for RESTful services, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration between systems.Support SWIFT message testing and migration (ISO 15022 / ISO 20022), validating message formats, flows, and compliance.Work with Kafka and MQ integrations to verify message prioritization and data flow consistency.Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product stability and scalability.Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear, actionable documentation for developers.Collaborate with developers, architects, business, and operations teams to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery.Ensure compliance with quality standards and QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.Participate in end-to-end testing across 20+ distributed teams, including functional, migration, and complex integration validation.WHAT WE EXPECT5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and practical exposure to manual testing.Hands-on experience with Java (or .NET) and automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Spring Boot, Playwright, and JMeter.Experience in Kafka, SWIFT message migration (ISO 15022 / ISO 20022), and data migration projects is a strong plus.Solid understanding of API testing, REST APIs, and integration frameworks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.Background in technology or prior experience as a developer/tester.Experience with mainframe systems (AS-400) and complex financial system integrations is a strong plus.WHAT WE OFFER:The salary range: 3500-6000 EUR gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
