QA/UAT Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE: Whether you're already in Vilnius or nearby, you'll join passionate professionals in the fintech/customer experience domain. You'll be working on a project designed to improve the agent-facing experience of an international financial application, ensuring that every feature delivered is intuitive, reliable, and polished from an end-user perspective. This role is also a great fit for a junior QA or someone transitioning into QA/UAT who has a bit of hands-on experience and a strong motivation to grow. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Testing new and existing application features from an end-to-end user perspectivePerforming UI/UX validation to ensure seamless, friendly user journeysWriting and executing test cases based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and actual business flowsParticipating in Agile ceremonies, supporting collaborative iterationUsing JIRA to work with Epics, Stories, defects, and test executionSupporting UAT activities, verifying that the product aligns with real user expectationsHandling defect lifecycle: reporting, retesting, verifying fixes, and resolving disagreementsAssisting in preparing test plans that outline scope, timelines, priorities, and testing approachCooperating with Project, Product, Development, and QA teams to ensure smooth information flowHandling scenario-based testing WHAT WE EXPECT: Must-have:Basic experience (1-2 years) with UI/UX testing and readiness to dive into itUnderstanding of Agile methodology (and how it differs from Waterfall)Familiarity with JIRA: Epics, Stories, test execution, defect workflowAbility to write clear test cases based on requirementsKnowledge of test execution steps and defect managementGood communication skills especially when clarifying or defending a reported issueWillingness to work closely with multiple teams and exchange information effectively Bonus points for:Understanding the difference between QA and UAT ;)Experience working across several teamsAwareness of financial or transactional systems Work setup:Hybrid: 3 days/week from the Vilnius officeWorking hours: 9:00 - 18:00 WHAT WE OFFER: Salary ranges (for employees in Lithuania only): 3500 - 3900 € gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience and contract type).At Addendum we believe in personalized benefits packages that cater to your unique passions.
