ABOUT THE ROLE:

You'll be joining a dedicated team in the banking sector, working on a meaningful mission to build a strong, locally rooted financial institution in the Baltics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Develop tools that automate workflows and improve efficiency and reliability for DevOps, ITOps, and support teams, alongside designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Maintain thorough documentation of best practices and key takeaways to foster continuous learning.
• Lead post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement corrective measures that reduce recurrence.
• Design, develop, and support resilient software systems that meet performance and availability standards.
• Promote the use of DevOps methodologies across teams to drive consistency, automation, and agility.
• Investigate system failures in depth and apply long-term solutions to prevent similar issues.
• Guide internal stakeholders on AWS cloud architecture, tools, and best practices, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Continuously assess infrastructure for improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance performance and scalability.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Proven experience in a DevOps or similar capacity, with a strong track record of managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), with practical experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on the AWS platform.
• Skilled in using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt, and experienced in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience managing workloads within AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Proficient in scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, used to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with deployment management, including direct involvement in production and non-production releases. Proficient in managing both infrastructure and application deployments via Jenkins pipelines and Helm charts to ensure consistent and controlled rollout of changes.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, essential for effective communication in a Pan-Baltic, cross-functional team environment.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Salary ranges (for employees in Lithuania only): 5000 - 8000 gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
