Biomapas is a growing international company providing specialized services in clinical research, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and medical information. Headquartered in Lithuania, we operate across Europe and are expanding globally. Our work supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in developing and bringing new treatments to patients in a safe, ethical, and efficient way.
As our business grows, we are looking to strengthen our internal legal capabilities by hiring a Lawyer to join our small, flexible, and collaborative legal team.
Position is based in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Head of Legal and take an active role in handling day-to-day legal matters across the group. This is a generalist in-house role with a strong focus on employment law, commercial contracting, and supporting the company's international growth.
It's a hands-on role where you'll have autonomy, visibility, and a real impact. Ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Advisory & Risk Management
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams on employment, commercial, and regulatory issues
- Identify legal risks across the business and propose practical mitigation strategies
- Assist with legal issues in international operations, including foreign labor law
Contracting & Documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
- Maintain and improve legal templates, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Oversee contract lifecycle and legal document management
Corporate Growth & Legal Projects
- Support the legal aspects of corporate development activities (e.g., new entity setups and M&A projects)
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on jurisdiction-specific matters
- Prepare legal reports and contribute to internal legal knowledge-sharing
Legal Operations & Internal Training
- Organize legal training sessions for employees and suppliers
- Help manage the legal document archive
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality rules
Requirements
- Master's degree in Law
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an in-house or corporate lawyer
- Solid knowledge of Lithuanian labor and contract law
- M&A or cross-border legal experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-lawyers
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian; Russian is a plus
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Responsible, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and adaptable

Gross monthly salary from €2,200 to €3,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
