Our client is a prestigious member of a global legal network operating in over 90 countries with more than 11,500 legal, tax, and business professionals worldwide. They are currently seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be someone who embraces challenges, values initiative and creativity, and thrives in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Draft procedural documents including claims, responses, motions, and appeals in civil, administrative, and labor law cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze court practice, including foreign case law (especially in English).
  • Prepare legal opinions, case evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Represent clients or assist attorneys in court hearings depending on experience.
  • Communicate effectively with Lithuanian and international clients regarding case progress and potential risks.
  • Work independently on smaller cases and collaborate with team members on larger projects, especially involving financial institutions.
  • Develop legal strategies and maintain ethical and clear communication, even in challenging situations.

Case Types:

  • Commercial disputes (contract enforcement, payments, liability)
  • Administrative law (challenging decisions of public authorities)
  • Labor law disputes
  • Financial sector disputes

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree in law;
  • Be meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented;
  • Be capable of independently researching, analyzing, and organizing legal information;
  • Demonstrate strong time management and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Communicate clearly and logically both verbally and in writing;
  • Show initiative and be able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Be fluent in English (knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage);
  • Have experience in litigation or dispute resolution (an advantage).
