Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a talented Procurement Manager to join our Group Procurement department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies for IT software and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring effective cost and vendor management.

About the Role:

  • Develop category strategies and preferred suppliers for IT software and services, leveraging the wider Alter Domus organization.
  • Build and maintain sustainable supplier partnership relationships.
  • Manage vendor performance to ensure sustainable supply and service quality.
  • Partner with key IT and business stakeholders to develop category strategies and supply bases aligned to business needs.
  • Identify and deliver productivity opportunities.
  • Lead and manage complex tenders.
  • Ensure effective contract management and suppliers' performance.
  • Provide regular financial forecasts and productivity tracking.
  • Develop strategic vendors' relationships at senior account management levels.
  • Manage projects and communication with senior stakeholders and budget holders.

About You:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or sales with IT procurement skills or IT/software sales background in a multinational company.
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English (French language is a bonus).
  • Strong team player with ability to lead and work independently.
  • Ability to report accomplishment vs objectives.
  • Solid knowledge of negotiations for IT and services contracts.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organized with ability to conduct multiple projects in parallel.
  • Results and action-oriented with ability to implement and drive projects.
  • Tooling experience in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and BI tools.

Salary: Gross monthly salary of 3,500 to 5,600 EUR depending on experience.
