Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.

  • Develop and maintain global privacy policies, procedures, and related templates;
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team on documenting new processing activities and maintaining records of processing activities (ROPA);
  • Conduct onboarding and renewal privacy assessments of suppliers;
  • Engage with customer success and development teams in responding to customer diligence requests regarding privacy programs;
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to ensure compliance with cookie and other data gathering requirements;
  • Address privacy compliance aspects of internal data management initiatives;
  • Support completion and maintenance of data protection impact assessments (DPIA).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in privacy or related areas of law;
  • International experience, preferably working for a European law firm, a European regulated entity, or a European financial supervisory authority;
  • The ability to explain complex legal matters to stakeholders;
  • Flexible and creative thinking to address business needs in a risk-based manner;
  • The ability to develop compliance solutions that can apply across global jurisdictions;
  • Strong collaboration skills to engage with business, technology, risk management, and other functions.
