Remote PHP Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using PHP (Laravel).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new features for existing products to integrating third-party APIs and tools to enhance product functionality.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and Laravel, as well as experience with SQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and Redis. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document technical decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP (Laravel)
  • Design and implement new features for existing and upcoming products
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance product functionality
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
  • Write and maintain unit and feature tests
  • Document technical decisions and contribute to best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend and mobile developers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a proactive manner
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with PHP and Laravel
  • Experience with SQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and Redis
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit/feature tests
  • Ability to document technical decisions
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
