Senior Backend Engineer - Ecommerce Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our ecommerce platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in the ecommerce space.


About the Role

This position involves designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using NodeJS frameworks such as Nest or Express. You will work closely with the development team to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features that meet business needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement REST APIs using NodeJS frameworks
  • Develop and maintain high-performance database schemas using MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Implement containerization using Docker for local and production environments
  • Work with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Apply Test Driven Development principles and automated testing strategies

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience with NodeJS frameworks (e.g., Nest or Express)
  • 3+ years experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design
  • Docker experience for local and production environments
  • Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery experience
