Business Intelligence Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and developing insights that inform business decisions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating as the first point of contact for employees by providing direct assistance with BI tools.
  • Ensuring the resolution of basic incidents and escalating to senior team members based on incident complexity.
  • Supporting business requests related to reporting system access and usage.
  • Creating, updating, and debugging Alteryx workflows with the support of senior team members.
  • Performing initial assessments of SQL stored procedures to identify potential data errors.
  • Assisting in the administration of Alteryx Server and Alteryx Gallery environments.
  • Running periodic reports in Excel and ensuring timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Serving as a resource for interpreting data and information.
  • Creating and/or updating documentation, self-service guides, and reporting tools.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous work or internship experience in a similar field.
  • A bachelor's degree program in IT, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or Business Administration.
  • A completed training course in Data Analytics, Reporting, or Business Intelligence.

You will need to possess the following skills:

  • Planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and apply appropriate solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to write and understand Structure Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience with relational databases and data management.
  • Ability to create and/or understand Alteryx Designer, Power BI, or ServiceNow.
