We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Assistant to join our team at HMD Trucking Inc.

  • Log Audit and Compliance: Ensure accurate and complete hours records through thorough review of logs, GPS, BOL, fuel, and inspections.
  • Driver Coaching: Provide guidance to drivers on Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
  • Log Issues and Accidents: Respond promptly to log-related issues and accidents, guiding drivers through necessary steps, collecting data, and creating accident reports.
  • Permits and Compliance: Manage permits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in spoken and written English

Location and Schedule:

  • On-site
  • Tuesday - Friday from 15:00 to 00:00
  • Saturdays 12:00 to 20:00
