General Ledger Accountant

Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant for our office in Kaunas.

You won't just be booking journal entries - you'll be an integral part of the month-end engine, supporting critical reporting processes, driving improvements, and collaborating with teams across borders.

This is a perfect role for someone coming from FMCG, logistics, or another fast-moving sector who's ready to take ownership, sharpen their expertise, and grow with us.

You'll be at the core of our general accounting operations—ensuring financial integrity, supporting reporting cycles, and constantly finding ways to optimize and improve.

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities according to group timelines
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and manual vouchers
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and compliant
• Support audit preparations and liaise with external parties (auditors, banks, tax authorities, etc.)
• Collaborate with global finance and cross-functional teams to resolve queries and improve processes
• Help train and onboard new team members
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
• Drive and support continuous improvement within the finance function

Requirements

You're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes initiative, and values precision. You're organized, hands-on, and always thinking two steps ahead.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years in a similar accounting role
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (GL modules)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, international environment
