We are seeking a talented Senior Java Engineer to join our passionate team at Softeta, working on innovative software solutions for the healthcare sector. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality software products that meet our clients' needs.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and implementation of robust and scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy Java applications that are high-performance, scalable, and easy to maintain.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and create technical specifications;
  • Conduct code reviews and promoting best coding practices;
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

Technological stack - Java 17, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on backend systems;
  • Proficient in using Spring Framework and RESTful services;
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
  • Strong understanding of database design and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
