SUMMARY The ERP Development Manager leads the teams responsible for Global Purchase Order, Production Planning, and Manufacturing Automation solutions. Reporting to the IT Director, this role provides end-to-end ownership across these areas so that systems, processes, data, and integrations work as one coherent solution. The Manager aligns priorities, solution design, team capacity, delivery quality, and system lifecycle, while driving practical use of AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve outcomes. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
• Maintain an end-to-end solution architecture for the ERP and manufacturing systems portfolio.
• Lead few software development teams, aligning priorities, responsibilities, capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Ensure applications, master data, integrations, and reporting support approved business processes and operate as one coherent solution.
• Translate approved business priorities into realistic delivery plans based on scope, dependencies, risks, and team capacity.
• Review and challenge requirements and solution designs, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and resolve ownership gaps or delivery blockers.
• Maintain quality gates across analysis, design, testing, business acceptance, release, and stabilization; ensure systems remain documented, secure, and supportable.
• Identify and implement practical AI-enabled automation across analysis, documentation, testing, support, data validation, and business workflows, with appropriate human review and governance.
• Develop team capabilities and manage resources, vendors, costs, risks, knowledge transfer, and reporting to the IT Director. KEY COMPETENCIES
• Strong end-to-end understanding of manufacturing ERP, including item master, bills of material, routings, costing, procurement, inventory, production, order management, and reporting.
• Experience leading Team Leads or multiple technical teams, including priority, capacity, performance, and capability management.
• Ability to connect business process, application, data, and integration decisions, with practical knowledge of APIs, master data, system boundaries, dependencies, and release readiness.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear recommendations and challenge incomplete or unsustainable solutions.
• Practical experience implementing AI-enabled automation, with responsible use of human review, data security, privacy, accuracy controls, and vendor or model risk management.
• Strong vendor, budget, risk, stakeholder, and English communication skills, with the ability to work across Lithuanian and U.
S. teams. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 6+ years of experience with ERP, enterprise applications, manufacturing systems, or technology delivery, including 2+ years leading technical teams or Team Leads.
• Demonstrated experience delivering or improving complex manufacturing ERP solutions end to end; multi-entity manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong manufacturing ERP architecture or senior functional consulting experience; NetSuite manufacturing experience is preferred.
