About The Role
We’re looking for an IT Service Desk Specialist to join our Technology unit in Lithuania, Vilnius. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support for Omniva employees across the Baltics. You’ll help ensure that our people can work smoothly by resolving IT issues, managing user access, and providing friendly, professional assistance every day. Your main workplace will be our new office at Plunges g. 4, Vilnius. During the office setup and transition period, you’ll also need to visit our current location at Savanoriu pr. 5 to collect IT hardware and support its transfer to the new office. What you’ll do
• Support the launch of our new office location by helping set up workstations, equipment, and other IT solutions
• Provide first-line IT support and resolve technical issues related to applications, systems, and workplace IT
• Manage incoming support requests, ensuring proper registration, prioritization, documentation, and follow-up
• Troubleshoot application and system issues, provide workarounds, and escalate more complex cases to relevant IT teams
• Monitor applications and perform basic database queries and log analysis to investigate and resolve issues
• Manage user accounts, access rights, system settings, and application configurations
• Support workplace IT, including software installation, testing, equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory management
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, workplace, and other IT teams to resolve incidents and identify recurring problems
• Create and maintain user guides and internal documentation, share knowledge, and contribute to improving Service Desk processes What you bring
• Secondary education, preferably with a background or education in IT
• Good IT knowledge and technical skills, with an interest in understanding how systems and applications work
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written
• Strong communication and collaboration skills – you work well with colleagues, users, and partners
• An independent and solution-oriented mindset – you can make decisions within your area of responsibility and apply your knowledge in everyday situations
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail – you follow through on tasks and care about the quality of your work
• Initiative and willingness to learn – you’re curious, open to new technologies and ways of working, and ready to continuously develop your skills
