Chief Accountant

workplace: Vilnius

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Ensuring the reliability of accounting operations, adhering to the requirements of Lithuanian legislation;
  • Organizing the accounting function and making financial statements in conformity with social and IFRS norms within the set deadlines;
  • Booking and processing of invoices and payments, verifying sales and purchasing data;
  • Accounting analysis performance;
  • Ensuring the production of statutory accounts, establishing and depositing the tax declaration and reporting obligations (exchange control, statistics, banks);
  • Management of Working Capital Requirements and Treasury;
  • Contribution to cash flow and balance sheet forecasts in the budget year.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High-level education degree in Finances;
  • Experience in a similar role (5+ years);
  • Excellent level of accounting rules knowledge
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English, conversational Russian language skills;
  • Tech-savvy;
  • Excellent time management, planning and priority-setting skills;
  • Result, quality and safety oriented.
