Senior SAP ABAP Developer Job Opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in the insurance sector. If you have a strong background in delivering scalable ABAP solutions, enjoy collaborating across teams, and thrive in a structured environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

 

Job Description:

The successful candidate will design, develop, and document ABAP-based software components in close collaboration with business analysts, architects, and other developers. They will also support internal teams by advising on standards, system processes, and technology usage across departments.

Additionally, they will deliver end-to-end solutions for complex or multi-layered system requirements, guide and mentor junior team members, and ensure all developments align with internal coding standards and industry best practices.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years as an ABAP Developer.
  • Strong expertise in OO ABAP, with hands-on experience in custom development (e.g., reports, BADI enhancements) and configuration based on customer specifications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and integration techniques.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, documentation standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
