Localization Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Localization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of localized content across various platforms.

Your primary focus will be on managing day-to-day translation processes for web content and other digital products. You will work closely with our Product and Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of translations.

You will also be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with translation agencies, native copywriters, and country managers. This includes mapping and documenting all localized material to ensure translation consistency in terms of style, quality, accuracy, and tone of voice.

In addition, you will identify and fix linguistic and market-specific issues before launch. You will create and maintain linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, translation memories, etc.) and develop processes and methodologies to implement, maintain, and optimize the localization process.

This is a challenging role that requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time. You should be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be comfortable with constant change.

Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in linguistics, languages, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in localization or a related field
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CAT or TMS tools
