We're seeking an ambitious and visionary Junior-Mid Backend Engineer who can spearhead our Payments domain. If you're passionate about building scalable systems and driving innovation, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Payments team is at the forefront of our company's success, ensuring seamless and secure money movement. They design, build, and operate services that power real-time transactions across the globe. As a member of this team, you'll have the autonomy to drive complex projects, collaborate with senior engineers, and make a tangible impact on revenue and customer trust.

Here are some key responsibilities:

  • System Design: Help craft cloud-native, service-oriented systems that will be used by multi-platform applications and hundreds of thousands of users.
  • Implementation: Enjoy end-to-end autonomy, contributing to system design, implementation approach, and production operations of your services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to build modern and scalable software.
  • Learning and Growth: Collaborate with a team of strong professionals, learning from senior software engineers, engineering and product managers, and leveraging opportunities to grow.

You'll report directly to our Engineering Manager and work with a variety of cutting-edge tools, including PHP 8, Symfony 6, AWS, Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, SQS/SNS, GitHub, Jenkins, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, S3, and PHPUnit.

Desirable Skills:

  • Microservice architecture experience.
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD) knowledge.
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed and event-driven systems.
  • AWS deployment expertise.
