About the Team

You will be joining a team that is part of the largest strategic transformation in the company's history, developing greenfield target state technology and innovative solutions for over 4 million customers.

You will be part of an autonomous Product team grouped with several other teams under a common Fintech domain which includes Energy Trading, Payments and Exports. You will be working alongside teammates in Lithuania, while also collaborating with colleagues in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute towards building and scaling customer products and services, collaborating with other Engineering and Mobile, DevOps and Data teams
  • Engage with cutting-edge technologies like TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, utilizing CI/CD pipelines built with Terraform and Kubernetes on GCP
  • Navigate complex challenges and drive development process improvements, working with your team to achieve common objectives
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of software engineering experience
  2. Backend or Full-stack engineering experience
  3. Good knowledge of TypeScript and Node (experience of React/React Native can also be an advantage)
  4. Experience using a cloud-native approach to developing scalable applications, including containers, continuous delivery and microservices
  5. Experience with CI/CD and Terraform
  6. Exposure to implementing and consuming APIs
  7. Proven experience in a fast-paced growth environment
  8. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform an advantage, or alternatively AWS
  9. Passion for product and user experience, along with strong commercial thinking
  10. Willing to own code from development to production
  11. Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) is beneficial
  12. Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
