About Our Data Leadership Opportunity

BURGA is seeking an exceptional data professional to lead our data strategy and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining our long-term data vision and strategy, developing and implementing processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability, and collaborating closely with various departments to provide analytical insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering, and 2+ years of experience leading a team of data specialists. They must have the ability to build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of data specialists, as well as practical experience creating and implementing data strategies that have had a direct positive impact on business results.

About Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining BURGA's long-term data vision and strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a team of data analysts and engineers, ensuring effective performance and professional growth
  • Implementing processes to ensure data accuracy, reliability, security, and easy accessibility for all relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with various departments (marketing, product, operations) to provide them with necessary analytical insights and recommendations for decision-making
  • Educating and inspiring employees across the organization to use data in their daily work by organizing training and sharing success stories
  • Redesigning reports to improve accuracy, usability, and strategic value
  • Enabling data-driven decisions to reduce costs and improve operations
